14 holes at River View Golf (Santa Ana)
Golfing with former coworkers at River View GC
Course Map ... last time I was here, the place half opened due to flooding.
Looking forward to trying to play a full 18 holes! Unfortunately, we only got in 14 by darkness.
Wai putting as Charlie looks on.
Jeff teeing up trying to hit over the Santa River (or atleast lay up his shot).
Waiting to cross the river while Charlie is assessing his layup shot.
Charlie teeing off back across the Santa Ana River.
Wai teeing off from the same spot as Charlie.
After 14 holes, we head over to Orange for dinner at Tutto Fresco.
Yum! Lots of Pasta!
I made one more stop at the Kogi Truck after dinner for takeout!

18 holes at Black Gold Golf Club
I've been waiting for months to play at Black Gold Golf Club and it finally happened today!
My very generous friends gave me a nice gift certificate for two rounds of golf, range balls and use of a GPS equipped golf cart!
Haven't played or practiced in over two months so I didn't do all that well (plus it was alittle windy when we started).
Played with my regular golf partner Wai, she did pretty good on this course!
We saw a beautiful sunset from the 17th green and managed to just finish the 18 holes by near darkness at 6:20pm or so. It was a very nice course and the staff was very friendly!
Thanks E & M for your wonderful gift! It was worth saving this thru my unemployment time and using it just before starting my new job!

Nine and Dine @ La Mirada Golf Course
Wai found this great deal toward the end of Summer - range balls, free mini lessons, 9 holes of golf and a nice dinner afterward at La Mirada.
Unfortunately, the golf course was having a power outage that day and the golf director was having a difficult time managing all the different problems going on that afternoon. But we did get some great tips from him and got to hit some balls on the practice range and play 9 holes. It was Wai, Jim and Jeff's first time on the course. We ended up having dinner by candle light on TriTips and veggies. Not a bad deal for $20 buck!

18 holes at Fullerton Golf Course
Played with Wai, Janice and Henry. We had the $25 hot dog and half cart special with a tee time of 10:00am.
Janice and Wai on the green
Wai teeing off on #9
I had a pretty decent day even though I lost a lot balls. We finished about 2:23pm roughly 2 1/2 hours of play. It was my 2nd 18 hole game in less than 24 hours. I started kinda of sloppy but got into a better rhythm pm on the back nine.

18 holes at Dad Miller in Anaheim
Back at Dad Miller after a 10 month break
nice row of golf carts but we walked this one!
Played with Mike I today, this is his favorite course.
We started at 3:00pm and finished the first 9 holes by 4:55pm.
We finished the 18th by 7:01pm, it as a relaxing four hours on the course with no pressure and no waiting today! Even though I didn't play great, it was still a 6% improvement over the last 18 holes that I played here before.
Tomorrow, I'm playing another 18 holes with some other friends at Fullerton GC! Hope I'm not too sore from today!
