Went to the LA Golf Show at the Anaheim Convention Center today.

What they don't tell you on the flyer is that you have to pay $12 freaking bucks to park at the Convention Center (and deal with the rude staff there). I got my "dollar" off coupon off the $10 admission, so before even getting inside the show, I'm already down $21 bucks! I should have signed up for TWO subscriptions for Golf Digest magazine (or atleast one more for a friend).

Once inside, I plucked down another $90 bucks for some golf pants, thermo sleeves, leather playing gloves, etc .. but at least Roger Dunns kicks back $10 certificate (plus one more for a friend) to shop at their store after the show!

All the major club mfgs were there but I didn't want to wait in line to try one of their clubs ... I can do that without waiting at a Golfsmiths.

I did wait in line to meet with a Titleist rep and get a free sleeve of Titleist balls!

The Heineken Girls were next door to the Titleist booth.

"Top Shot" contestant (and certified NRA instructor) Jay Lim gave a presentation at the show.

I stopped by his booth afterwards to get a free swing / set up analyst; hope it helps my game. He charges $80 an hour to teach at Fullerton Golf Course.

After a few hours at the show, and all the free extras (including range balls at Black n' Golf GC, and a $10 Gas card from Ford Motor Company), I went home for a late lunch.
