Played 9 holes after work today at BHGC and field tested two of my newest toys (my new Coolpix L11 Digital camera and my Bushnell Yardage Pro Legend laser rangefinder). I didn't realize that I was making this weird face looking thru the rangefinder (ha ha). It works pretty good! I can figure out pretty close as to how far away the flag is and how far my drives are actually going.

First hole

My drive on the #3 green (that I pretty much rolled all 151 yards to the green from the tee box).

Although it was gloomy and really overcast this afternoon, I had a great time trying out my toys and getting a great round of golf. I shot my lowest score at Birch Hills (38/18) for 9 holes. Met Eric and his daughter on the course; Eric showed a great chipping technique using a 7I from the fringe and choking down on the grip. The first time I did it, I par'd with a chip-in! Cool!
