Golfing at Brea GC after church

I did a quick 9 holes with a father & son that I just met. They were really nice and encouraging . Hanging out with these guys was great fellowship (golfing was terrible!) I shot an awful 63/27!

It was fun, I only lost a sleeve of balls plus 1 (4 balls). I had one great Tee shot / drive on #5 and then bounced my 2nd shot into the drain channel. Later I had a great Tee shot with 7 iron onto the #7 green. Otherwise, I was slicing my shots all over the course!

On the 5th hole green with a long 5W shot (woo hoo!!) and I par'ed it in two putts!

For the third week in a row, I went to Brea GC on my own and hooked up with some cool folks.

I shot a 55/24 not great but I par'd on the 5th hole (2 strokes to the green and 2 putts to finish). I was happy (expect for all those slices I shot today and yesterday)!

Well, I got my $20 worth of practice today with Rodney. The course was really busy today and one of the guys we got paired up with was kinda of a jerk (so we ditched them on the 4th). We replayed holes 2 & 3 and then played 4 & 5 and then hole #2 and #3 again. Rodney was getting tired and left at 4:30. I continued on to finish #5. Played #6 but didn't putt on the green ... chosing to go directly to #7 thru #9 to finish up the course.

It was a pretty golf outing (kinda of a screwed score card) but good workout on the course.

I got in a quick 5 holes at Brea GC after Sunday's baptism service. Boy, does it get dark really soon now! It was pretty fun. I joined up with a guy and his mom; they were really nice.

Hit lots of long tees. Lost my score card somewhere on the 15th hole, gotta get a copy from Wai.

It was fun, now I'm sore!
