Another Sundowner at Birch Hills
BHGC driving range - my warm up
Got to tee off solo right at 6:00pm, I almost par'd the first hole but my 2nd putt stopped just short of the hole!
I joined with Bill and his two grandsons, I hit 230 yd drive on #4
We finished up right at 7:51 or so. It's starting to get darker earlier now.

Free round of golf at Birch Hills
Got in 9 holes at Birch Hills this evening. Shot a crappy 49/25 (putting really sucked today) but I met some nice senior citizen on the course today (they were dying to know if I was Chinese?!). It almost looked like it was going to rain on us today with a few little sprinkles but it stayed dry but very overcast.
After finishing 9 holes with senior ladies, I ran back to replayed the first four holes before the staff turned on the sprinkler system. I shot even worst the 2nd time around!! Oh, well ... saw a pretty awesome sunset (due to the "thunderstorm" clouds) and got to hit some more. Oh, I almost for to say why I got to play for free ... apparently the BHGC staff had some problems with their ball dispensers, and also had problems finding credit card slips (sounds like they were calling it quits for the day). What do I care?! I got to play golf for FREE !!!

A chance meeting at Birch Hills GC
My coworker Wai and I ran into each other at Birch Hills today afterwork. We both had the same thought to come out for golf. As it were, we got in 15 holes.
We played the back 9 holes first; here's Wai teeing off at #11.
Here's Wai hitting out of the green side bunker at the #12 green.
Wai is teeing off at #15 here.
We got done with the back 9 by 7:38pm; another hour of daylight left!
So we hurried up and played the first four holes before the maintence guys turn on all the sprinklers!
We skipped holes 5 -7 and played the last two; finishing by 8:26pm!
Wai did well, I shot a terrible 81/35 for 15 holes (triple putting too many holes)!
All in all it was fun and it was something that I looked forward to after work today!

Redeemed at Birch Hills GC
What a differents 24 hours (and a shorter course) makes! And thanks to my Birch Hills Player Reward Card, I got a complementary round of golf today!
I shot a 40/15, with 3 pars and almost a birdie on one of them! I really felt the groove today!
