18 Holes at Whispering Lake GC
It was more like 18 holes at stinky Lake (both the cow manure smell and my golf game)!
I struggled with my short game all day!
I also had a couple problems hitting out of the sand traps!
Here's Jeff hitting along the water.
There were alot of Canadian geese here!
With the carts, we paid the holiday rate of $34, and the course was full! Lots of four and five somes!
Usually I try to pose with the tee box marker but there wasn't one for the 18th for some reason! I was glad to finish up this "stinky" round of golf! Probably my last 18 for 2011!
We stopped in Diamond Bar for dinner at the Boy's Big Boy afterwards.

Black Friday shopping / Driving Range
Black Friday Morning (after Thanksgiving) started early at the local Golfsmith and Sport Authority stories.
AJ got his early Christmas present - a matching set of Taylormade clubs: irons, putter, hybrid, wood, and bag - very cool!
Out at the driving range for his biweekly golf lessons.
He was hitting pretty good with his new clubs!
Even his dad got into it!
I couldn't resist the Black Friday sales either and ended up buying a Taylormade Hybrid that I've been needing (wanting) for a while!

Nine Holes at Norwalk
Taking Aaron out to play his first official round of golf!
Stretching is important!
So is warming up with a small bucket of balls.
Aaron didn't have much prior instructions on putting until this morning. He quickly caught on!
Here is his first drive on his first tee! He got his first par on the very next hole!
So fast forward to the last fairway, Aaron faces his first water hazard!
Aaron shot a 41/13 (outputting me!) Looking forward to many more golfing outing with this young man!
Good job Aaron!

LB Golf Learning Center part II
Back in Long Beach to practice on chipping on Wednesday, October 26th while waiting to pick up my friend at the local airport (killing two birds with one stone).
Thanks again to my friend's GL's driving range voucher.
Watching the Goodyear blimp flying in the background behind the driving range in Long Beach.
Hit on the mats with the automatic teeing machine; end up hitting over 181 balls. I was getting pretty sore afterward. But finished up in time to pick up my friend from the LB airport afterwards.

LB Golf Learning Center
My friend GL gave me a couple vouchers for a jumbo size (150) bucket of range balls, a cold beverage, and one hour time on the pitching / chipping course this cool driving range in Long Beach.
It was chilly and gloomy this morning when I started (after I dropped off another friend at the LB airport).
It took me a hour and half to go thru 150 range balls. My arms and legs felt like lead and my back was starting to feel sore but I managed to have some energy left to go to the gym afterwards.
After a quick lunch, I went out on the chipping course to practice hitting out of a bunker and chipping around the practice green.
It was a pretty good work out today on the range, thanks to my good friend GL!
BONUS PHOTOS:
On my way to the driving range, I spotted this cool mini mural on a street corner and had to take a couple photos of it. I wished I knew more about this.
