Private Lessons / more playing time?

I'm sick of being sick ...

with that being said, it's time to go golfing. Actually, I had my first private lesson this week. My instructor is helping me with my grip, stance, and back swing. We worked on with my 7 iron and 3 wood. John M. is trying to get to visualize my "coiling" rather than me just swinging with my arms but help use my whole body. I'm sort of relearning my swing and it's messing me up alittle.

Also, I've caught an episode on the Golf Channel's Golf Academy episode about chipping (something that I really need to work on too!). I can't wait to try some of this new knowledge on the golf course.

This weekend, I have atleast one and maybe two opportunities to play golf. I have a 9am tee time on Saturday already with my coworkers at Birch Hills. Trying to see if a group of us from Church can get together after service to play either 9 or 18 holes afterwards.

Looking forward to a great weekend!
