2nd day in a row

Back to Golfer's Paradise!

I think I was thinking golf so much today, that I had go out to the driving range again. Isn't summer time is great, so much daylight after work! Actually, after I got home I check my emails, took a short nap (got woke up by my neighbor's kids who bounced a ball into my patio and wanted it back like right away) and then decided to go hit some balls!

I had to buy another $30 range card ... boy, they shrunk down the # of balls from a large (150) to a medium bucket (105). Oh, well it's still a little bit cheaper.

So I went thru my wedge & iron drills (ho hum) ... couldn't launch with a two or three of my irons but I noticed that I had alittle more shot placement control with my 8, 6, and 5 iron. Then it was CANDY Time ... pull out the 3 wood and driver for my long balls. Actually after about 5 or 6 really nice shots with the 3 wood, I finished off the rest of my bucket (about 30 balls) with my driver ... I LOVE MY DRIVER!!

I think I'm starting to understand what I've been doing wrong when I slice my shots (hit to the right) ... I'm looking up to see where my ball is going (bad) ... in my follow thru now, I'm trying NOT to look up and just follow thru with my swing. Man, was that a major revelation!! Eventhough my shots aren't going as far, they are straight down the range! Now if I can only do that on the real course, I'll be really pleased with myself!

So as I'm finishing up tonight, watching the full moon sinking into the horizon I noticed some people behind me. It was one of those "Michelle Wie" wannabe's (there's lots of cute Korean women running around these driving ranges) and her grandfather/instructor. They wanted my space and/ or my rubber tees (which I politely said that these were my own). "Michelle" almost talked me out of them (like I said, "pretty cute" but not the reason I haunt the driving range).

So, sadly I took off and left grandpa and student tee-less. I went and putted about 5 holes and then took off.

Aaaah, a nice soreness is setting in ... time for dinner (don't want to burn up my meal while working on my blog)!

Next outing with Coworker is at Cerritos Iron-Wood!
