DB's long tee shot at hole #2 (about 240 yards on 272)
Finishing up at the 8th and 9th hole
Here's DB last tee shot on the 9th
We ended up at the local El Torito for dinner
Rodney enjoyed his Peach Margarita
DB's dinner combo - Yum!
A group of us from work met for our semi-weekly golf outing. I was able to to take off a little bit earlier today and got to practice my chipping and pitching in special practice area and a hit a few ball on the range before hand.
One of our former coworker, Charlie joined us this after noon. We were originally scheduled for a 5:30 tee time but we go pushed back till almost 6:00. The guys in the Pro Shop gave us a big discount on our Twilight greens fee ($5.50 from our regular $9.50). It was a really good deal since we were able to finish all 9 holes before it got dark at 8:00.
High points for me, got past the 2nd (272 yds), 4th (316 yds), and 8th holes (111 yds) with out losing a ball and actually hit two really long drives when I used my Taylor Made driver! Also, finally "par'ed" a hole (the 3rd hole) with a putter shot from the rough! At 48/19, this was one DB's best game on a 9 hole!!
It was a great outing!
